Free Comic Book Day

Today is Free Comic Book Day Nationwide.  After meeting the artists set up outside the Star Clipper Comic Book store in University City doing on-the-spot drawings and selling stuff one informed me that all artists were welcome to do so. I decided to set up outside the store and see if I could do the same. It was a great success. I displayed books and T-shirts and did requests for drawings on the spot. I sold some books and made some tips (I was doing the on the spot art at no charge but accepted tips) I had a great time and my work was well received by all. I think I will look into doing this kind of thing more.
